Nuvex Media LLC ("Nuvex," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what choices you have.
This policy applies to nuvexmediallc.com and any services we provide through it.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
When you contact us, request a quote, or place an order, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your company name (if applicable)
- Your phone number (if provided)
- Contents of any messages you send us
- Project requirements, tool credentials, and content you share for your project
- Billing information (processed by Stripe — see Section 4)
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider and we may collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring website
This information is used in aggregate to understand site usage and improve performance.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and quote requests
- Deliver the AI, automation, and analytics services you've ordered
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Communicate with you about your project
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, delivery notifications)
- Improve our services and website performance
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not send marketing or promotional emails unless you have explicitly opted in.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Payment processor: Stripe, Inc. processes all card payments on our behalf. Card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Email provider: We use a standard email service (Google Workspace or similar) for project communications.
- Hosting provider: Our website is hosted on Vercel, which may have access to standard server logs.
- Third-party AI & automation platforms: When we build systems on your behalf, we configure accounts with providers you nominate (OpenAI, Anthropic, Zapier, Make.com, etc.). Data shared with those providers is subject to their own privacy policies.
- Legal authorities: If required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
4. Payment information
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card numbers, expiry dates, and CVCs are entered directly into Stripe's secure forms and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only the last four digits of the card and the transaction confirmation.
For Stripe's privacy practices, see stripe.com/privacy.
5. Access credentials & sensitive data
To deliver our services, we may temporarily require access to your accounts (Google Workspace, Slack, Stripe, Shopify, etc.) or API keys for AI providers. We handle these credentials with the following practices:
- Credentials are stored in encrypted password managers, never in plain text
- We use minimum-required access levels (read-only where possible)
- We recommend you create dedicated accounts or scoped API keys for our use
- On project delivery, you should rotate any shared credentials — we notify you when this is needed
- We destroy stored credentials within 30 days of project completion, unless you request extended support
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses minimal cookies — only what's necessary for site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a consent banner.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@nuvexmediallc.com. We respond to all valid requests within 30 days.
8. Data retention
We keep project-related information for up to 3 years after project completion, in case you need re-delivery or follow-up support. Billing and tax records are kept for 7 years to comply with US tax law. Inactive enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Access credentials are destroyed within 30 days of project completion.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our internal systems, encrypted credential storage, and trusted third-party services (Stripe, Vercel, Google Workspace) for sensitive operations. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your data.
10. International transfers
Nuvex Media LLC is based in the United States. If you use our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email.
